Characteristics of Curriculum
- Library class once in two weeks during which students would learn about the library, reading attitude, structures of books, categorization and organization of books, reading strategies and information literacy etc.
- We have morning reading sessions every Tuesday and Thursday so that students could read Chinese, English and E-books as well as newspaper regularly to build up a good reading habit. Also, “Mr and Mrs Story” would read Chinese and English story books to P. 1 and P. 2 students during morning reading sessions.
- Parent-child Reading Scheme is established to set reading goals for students and encourage them to read.
- We work with different subjects to organized theme book fair so as to promote and expose students to different genres of books and knowledge.
